Home Nest is a work where earthy tones and vibrant colors meet, forming a layered and organic whole. The surface resembles the earth itself – rough, weathered, and full of life’s traces. Warm browns and ochres create a grounding base, from which bright pinks, glowing yellows, and deep black shadows rise, like living forms sprouting from a place of safety into the light.

Kotipesä on teos, jossa maanläheisyys ja värien kirkkaus kohtaavat, muodostaen kerroksellisen ja elämänläheisen kokonaisuuden. Teoksen pinta on kuin maaperä itse – rosoinen, kulunut, täynnä elämän jälkiä. Sen lämpimät ruskean ja okran sävyt antavat pohjan, josta kirkas pinkki, hehkuva keltainen ja mustan syvät varjot nousevat esiin kuin kasvustot, jotka versovat turvapaikasta kohti valoa.

Kotipesä ei ole vain paikka – se on tunne, muisto, turva ja lähtökohta. Se on se sisäinen paikka, jonne ihminen palaa silloinkin, kun matka on vienyt kauas. Se on kuin luonto itse, kotipesä maan uumenissa tai syvällä sydämessä – jokaisella omansa, mutta samalla yhteinen kaikille.
